The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website, for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, is AI Readiness Check, email: office@aireadinesscheck.co.uk.

When you access our website, the server automatically collects certain information (server log files): IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, browser type and operating system. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the site.

As part of the AI check we process your answers and — where you provide them — your company name and email address, in order to give you an individual assessment and recommendations. The lawful basis for this processing is your consent, and the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

The automated assessment is provided for non-binding guidance only and does not constitute a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects concerning you.

If you contact us via the contact form, we process the information you provide (name, email address, message) in order to handle your enquiry. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where applicable, taking steps prior to entering into a contract.

To book consultation appointments we use the service Calendly. Personal data may be transmitted to the provider and may be processed in a country outside the UK. The lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in efficient appointment scheduling. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Only if you accept marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, services of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to measure how our advertising performs and to show our ads to people who are likely to find them relevant. For this we share with Meta your email address in hashed (pseudonymised) form, the Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp, _fbc), your IP address and browser type, and the fact that you completed the AI check.

After we review your enquiry, we may also tell Meta how relevant it is for our services (for example, “qualified lead”), so that Meta can show our ads to similar businesses. We never share your answers to the AI check with Meta.

The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future by clearing cookies in your browser or by contacting us. Meta may process data outside the UK, including in the USA; such transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or other appropriate safeguards.

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is then deleted.

You have the right of access to your personal data and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
